Krx 1000 Aluminum Rear Skid Plate

KRX 1000 Aluminum Rear Skid Plate by Class 1 Motorsports. The KRX 1000 has one of the toughest stock chassis but there is nothing except the thin plastic skid plate under the engine and the thin steel under the transmission bends fairly easily which can cause the transmission case to break. This 3/16" thick 6061 aluminum skid plate mounts between the factory plastic skid plate and the chassis adding an extra layer of protection in these areas.
 
 
The skid plate ships flat, not formed as 6061 aluminum does not bend very well. This is why they use it for a skid plate. We also ship the skid plate without hardware as it is intended to run between the chassis and a plastic(UHMW) skid plate, it will work with a factory skid plate or any aftermarket skid. We found there are just to many options for aftermarket skid plates to send hardware that will work with all of them. We highly recommend Factory UTV skid plates as we have found they hold up the best to abuse.
