We're proud to finally introduce something that is not only unique but also truly innovative in being a problem solving solution as well as a total bolt on application. Through collaboration with industry leaders in their respective fields, CA Technologies produced a solution that really is a true game changer.
Through their race experience and the feedback from professional racers in multiple types of racing, they determined the need for a steering stabilizer was an absolute must. The steering stabilizer works by using a custom modified fox shock to effectively reduce feedback in the steering wheel by upwards of 60%. This reduction in feedback reduces fatigue as well as increases safety from preventing the steering wheel being ripped from your hand.
The steering stabilizer uses a three piece clamp style mounting bracket system that mounts to an OEM steering flag or our aftermarket steering flag and tie rod system. This system is unique and superior in the way that it mounts. The kit is a 100% BOLT ON application. Requiring no welding, drilled, tapping or modification to your frame or other components in any way. They are able to achieve this by designing a bracket that mounts at the end of the steering rack using the OEM mounting points. Doing this ensures that ZERO amount of the dynamic load from the steering assembly is transferred anywhere but into the steering rack and the mounting bracket system. This ensures that we reduce the transfer of energy into the frame, reducing the potential for frame damage or fatigue from cracked weld joints that can happen over time.
They also engineered this system to keep the shock parallel with the steering rack. This ensures that the feedback forces are transmitted in a linear direction. This ensures that we avoid adding extra stress and wear onto the steering rack versus a conventional system where the shock absorber might be aligned at an angle to the steering rack which will increase side pressure and create excess wear in the rack itself. In doing this they found it was extremely important to keep the shock body as close to the rack as possible. This makes the CA Tech system more compact as well as reducing the amount of leverage on the steering rack that would create a "twisting" pressure on the rack and negatively increasing wear.
As with all of CA Tech's products this comes with a lifetime warranty, except in the case of wear out items.
